Console DayZ has no teleport command for server owners, but it has Player Restricted Areas: boxes in cfggameplay.json that the game moves a player out of when their character loads inside one. Law's KillFeed turns that into teleport pads. A player logs out standing on the pad and logs back in at the destination.

Set it up

  1. Turn on the CFG Gameplay File in your Nitrado server settings, if it isn't on already.
  2. Open Teleports in your server's settings on the dashboard.
  3. Pick the start and the destination on the map, or use where a player last stood.
  4. Choose the pad's size, whether it works both ways, and whether a visible concrete pad marks the spot.
  5. Save and restart the server. The pads work after the restart.

How players use it

  • Walking over a pad does nothing: they log out on it and log back in.
  • A restart does the same for anyone who was logged out on a pad.
  • Two-way pads bring players back to the start pad the same way.
  • The page counts how often each pad was used, and by whom last.

The free plan has 1 teleport per server, the paid plan 15. Other restricted areas in your cfggameplay.json stay as they are.

Questions

I logged in on the pad and nothing happened.

The pads only work after a restart, and only when the CFG Gameplay File is on. Stand inside the pad when you log out: its edges are the box the game checks.

Does it work on PC?

Teleports are made for Xbox and PlayStation servers; PC servers have teleport mods.
