These terms apply when you add the Law's KillFeed Discord bot to a Discord server or use this website, dayzbot.com ("we", "us"). By doing either, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the bot or the website.

The service

Law's KillFeed reads your DayZ server through your Nitrado account and posts what happens in game to Discord. It also gives your community tools such as an economy, bounties, factions, a trader shop, zones and server control. What each plan includes is listed on the Free vs Paid page.

Your account and your servers

  • You need a Discord account and must follow Discord's terms.
  • Only connect Nitrado accounts and game servers you own or are allowed to manage.
  • You are responsible for who you give staff access to, and for what the bot does on your server through the settings and commands you or your staff use.
  • Keep your login safe. Tell us in the support Discord if you think someone else is using it.

Fair use

Don't use the bot or the website to:

  • break the law, or the rules of Discord, Nitrado or DayZ;
  • harass, threaten or spam people;
  • get into servers, accounts or data that aren't yours;
  • overload, disrupt, or work around the limits of, the bot or the website.

We may limit, suspend or remove access for anyone who does, without notice when needed to protect the service or other users.

Free and paid plans

  • The free plan is offered as it is. Its features and daily limits can change.
  • The paid plan is a subscription for a number of servers, billed monthly, every 6 months or yearly. It renews automatically until you cancel.
  • Payments are handled by Paddle, our reseller and merchant of record. Paddle's buyer terms apply to your purchase, including refunds.
  • You can change or cancel your plan at any time from the dashboard. When you cancel, paid features stay on until the end of the period you paid for.
  • If prices change, the new price applies from your next renewal, not to a period you already paid for.

Availability

We work to keep the bot running, but we can't promise it never goes down. It depends on Discord, Nitrado and your game server, which we don't control. Feeds post after the server writes its logs, so they are never instant. Features can change as we improve the bot or as those services change.

Your data

How we handle data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Not affiliated

Law's KillFeed is an independent project. It is not made, endorsed or supported by Bohemia Interactive, Nitrado or Discord. DayZ is a trademark of Bohemia Interactive a.s.

Liability

The bot and website are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, game items, players or income, arising from your use of the service. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

Ending

You can stop at any time by removing the bot from your Discord server. We may stop offering the service, or part of it. If we stop a paid service, we stop billing for it.

Changes

If these terms change, we update this page and the date at the top. Big changes are also announced in the support Discord. If you keep using the bot after a change, the new terms apply.
