Factions give your server's groups a home in Discord. Each faction gets its own Discord role, a tag that shows on the kill feed, ranks with their own permissions and a shared bank.
Members manage everything from one /faction menu in Discord or from the My Faction page on the dashboard.

What you get
Tag and role
Every faction gets a Discord role, and its [TAG] shows next to members' names on the kill feed.
Ranks and permissions
Founder, Manager and Member to start with, plus your own ranks with rights to invite, kick, deposit, withdraw and manage the faction.
Faction bank
Members deposit into a shared bank with a full ledger. Ranks can have a daily withdraw limit and a wage paid from the bank.
Alliances and wars
Ally with other factions on the free plan. Wars, with their own scoreboard, need the paid plan.
Kill feed notes
Kills between factions are marked as Team Kill, Friendly Fire or War Kill.

A faction ranking posted to Discord every 12 hours.

Set it up
- Add the bot to your Discord server.
- Log in to the dashboard with Discord and connect your Nitrado account.
- Pick your DayZ server and the channels to post in. The bot creates the channels for you.
Questions
Who can create a faction?
Anyone you allow. Admins give the create permission to a Discord role through a permission group.
Do players need to link their game name?
For faction tags and Team Kill notes on the kill feed, yes. Both players need to link their in-game name with /gt link.
Can admins manage factions?
Yes. /factionadmin and the dashboard let admins edit or disband any faction and remove members.
