Banned players come back on a second Discord account, and one player with five accounts can farm your economy. Verification stops that at the door. A new member clicks Verify, logs in with Discord on dayzbot.com and gets the Verified role in a few seconds.
While they verify, the bot compares their browser, device and network with every member of your Discord who verified before. When it finds a match it posts an alert in your log channel with the accounts it matched, why, and the gamertags they play as, with Approve and Ban buttons. An alt of a member banned on your Discord, or of a player banned on one of your servers, is marked as ban evasion.
No IP address is stored: only one-way codes, deleted after 180 days. Matches are only made within your own Discord.

One-click verify
A Verify panel in the channel new members see. The private link logs them in with Discord and the role arrives in seconds.
Alt detection
Same browser, same device, same IP address or network: each match is rated Certain, Strong, Likely or Weak, so families sharing an internet connection are not banned by mistake.
Ban evasion
Matches with accounts banned on your Discord, or with a linked gamertag banned on your servers, are flagged as alts of a banned account.

Refuse Discord accounts younger than the number of days you pick.
Alerts with buttons
Every verification goes to your log channel. Alerts have Approve (gives the role and whitelists the member) and Ban buttons.
Member lookup
On the dashboard, look up any member: their checks, the accounts they matched and who matched them. Keep a whitelist and delete a member's data on request.
Verify before linking
Optionally, members must verify before they can link a gamertag with /gt link.
Set it up
- Add the bot to your Discord server.
- Log in to the dashboard with Discord and connect your Nitrado account.
- Pick your DayZ server and the channels to post in. The bot creates the channels for you.
- In the dashboard, open your server and pick Verification: choose the Verified role, a Quarantine role and the log channel.
- In Discord, run
/setupchanneland pick Verification Panel in the channel new members see, and Verification Logs in a staff channel. - Hide your other channels from
@everyoneand let the Verified role see them. Keep the bot's role above the Verified and Quarantine roles.
Questions
Is this like Double Counter?
It works the same way: members verify on a website and alt accounts are caught by browser, device and network. It runs on the bot you already have, and also knows your players' gamertags and in-game bans.
Do you store IP addresses?
No. The website keeps one-way codes of the address, network, device and a browser ID, plus the network's name and country, and deletes them after 180 days. See the privacy policy.
Will brothers on the same internet connection get banned?
Not by default. A shared IP address alone is a Likely match: it is posted as an alert and the member still gets in. Automatic actions start at Strong (same device and same address) unless you change it.
Why do members not get a message when they join?
The bot does not read join events, so members verify through the panel. Hide your channels from @everyone so the verify channel is the first thing new members see.
