Before you deploy
Which platforms are supported?
PC, Xbox and PlayStation DayZ servers.
What do I need to get started?
A Discord server where you can add bots, and your DayZ server on Nitrado. The bot reads your server through your Nitrado account.
Running your server somewhere else? Ask in our support Discord.
How do I set it up?
1. Add the bot to your Discord.
2. Log in to the dashboard and connect your Nitrado account with one click.
3. Pick your DayZ server, the Discord it posts to and the feed channels. The bot creates the channels for you.
Can't log in with an account that is admin on that Discord? The wizard can give you an ID instead; run /install with it in Discord.
How much does it cost?
The bot is free: every feed, economy and gambling, bounties, factions, the trader, whitelist/banlist editing, warnings, restarts, zones and automated tasks. No card needed, add as many servers as you like. The free plan has a few daily limits: 5 map images and 10 trader purchases per server, 25 gambling games per user and 10 whitelist requests per server.
The paid plan is $4.99 a month for 1 server, $6.99 for up to 3 or $12.99 for up to 10, of any size, paid in the dashboard. More than 10 servers? Contact us. 6 months gets a month free and a year gets 3 months free. It removes those limits and adds XML event editing, auto-start when the server is down, behaviour alerts, bounty target tracking, faction wars, automatic log download, 50 zones with entry checks, and 12 tasks per server at 5 minute intervals. Compare the plans or see how the price compares with other bots.
Are the server file tools free?
Can I change how the feeds look?
Yes. Every embed is fully customizable from the dashboard: colours, titles, text, which fields show and their order. You also choose which channel each feed posts to.
For a quick start, pick one of the embed templates: full looks, colour palettes, 10 languages and field layouts, plus looks other server owners shared.
Can my staff use the bot?
Yes. Create permission groups, link them to Discord roles and pick exactly which commands each group can run. Owners can also give dashboard access to other people.
Can I run more than one server?
Yes. Add each server in the dashboard and pick which Discord it posts to. Only add one Law's KillFeed bot per Discord server.
Something isn't working. Where do I get help?
Run /troubleshoot in your Discord first: it checks the common problems. Still stuck? Ask in the support Discord.
/plon or /plocs shows nobody online. What's wrong?
Player List Logging is off on your Nitrado server. Without it the kill feed still works, but online lists, player positions and maps stay empty. Turn on Player List Logging, then give the bot a few minutes to read the next log.
Players have bounties, but nothing shows in the bounty tracking channel.
Placing, paying off and claiming bounties is free, but tracking online targets is on the paid plan. With it, a player is only tracked once their bounty reaches your tracking minimum: set it with /setconfig bounties trackmin. Pick the channel with /setupchannel. The bounty heatmap also needs Player List Logging on.
Old leaderboards keep disappearing from the leaderboard channel.
The bot posts each board once and then edits it in place on every refresh, so the channel always shows the current standings instead of a new copy each time. Pick the boards and how often they refresh on the Leaderboards page of your server in the dashboard.
How do I link a feed to a Discord channel?
Run /setupchannel in the channel you want and pick the feed or feeds to post there. The dashboard setup wizard can also create the feed channels for you.
How do I reset player stats?
In the dashboard, open your server and pick Reset Stats. Choose which stats to reset (kills, bounties, time, economy and more) and whether it applies to every player on that server or only the ones you select. A reset can't be undone.
