Where to find Military Cap in DayZ

Military Cap is the in-game name; server files such as types.xml call it MilitaryCap_Desert.

On Chernarus, MilitaryCap_Desert does not spawn as random loot (nominal 0). It can still come from dynamic events such as helicopter crashes.

On Livonia, MilitaryCap_Desert does not spawn as random loot (nominal 0).

On Sakhal, MilitaryCap_Desert does not spawn as random loot (nominal 0).

On Nasdara, the economy keeps about 32 on the map and spawns more when fewer than 27 are left. Each one lasts 4 h when nobody touches it. It spawns in Military places, in Tier1, Tier2 and Tier3.

Where to look

  • Military bases, camps and checkpoints (Military)

Loot tiers: Nasdara Tier1, Tier2, Tier3. Tier1 is near the coast and Tier4 deep inland, so a higher tier means a longer trip.

Tier1 is near the coast and Tier4 deep inland. "Counts" lists where copies count towards nominal: count_in_map means copies lying in the world, count_in_cargo in containers, count_in_hoarder in tents, barrels and stashes, count_in_player on players. Every value is explained in DayZ types.xml explained.
