On PC you could install a mod for a killfeed, but you don't have to. Law's KillFeed reads the admin log Nitrado keeps for your PC server and posts kills, deaths and joins to Discord, the same way it does for Xbox and PlayStation. Nothing is installed on the server, and your players don't download anything.
What you need
- A DayZ PC server rented from Nitrado.
- A Discord server where you can add bots (Manage Server permission).
- Your Nitrado login, to connect the account once.
Set it up
- Add the bot to your Discord. Use the Add to Discord button below and pick your server.
- Log in to the dashboard on dayzbot.com with your Discord account and open Add Server.
- Connect Nitrado. One click signs you in to Nitrado and lists your DayZ servers. The dashboard sees on its own that yours is a PC server.
- Pick the server and the Discord it should post to, then tick the feeds you want. The bot creates a category with those channels.
- Turn on Player List Logging in Nitrado (optional) for player positions, maps and online lists. Here is how.
What works on PC
- The kill feed, with long-distance and streak feeds, PvE deaths, connections and the build log.
- Player stats, leaderboards, bounties, the Discord economy and factions.
- Zones that act on kills inside them.
- Whitelist, ban list and priority queue from Discord.
/restart,/stopand scheduled restart tasks.- Player positions, map images and heatmaps, with Player List Logging on.
A few tools edit files that only console servers on Nitrado have, so they are not available on PC: the trader shop, the cfggameplay.json commands such as /infinitestamina and /nightlight, XML events, name history (/alts) and the dashboard's Server Files page. On PC, change those files over FTP or in Nitrado's file browser.
