Whitelisted servers need a way in. Law's KillFeed has application forms like the Appy bot, built for DayZ: a gamertag question that knows the member's linked gamertag, a whitelist on accept, and faction applications that make the faction for you.
Set it up
- Open Applications in your server's settings on the dashboard and make a form, or start from a template such as Instant whitelist.
- Add questions: text, number, choice, yes / no, role, flag, member, channel, file and gamertag. A question can show only after a certain answer.
- Pick the channels for new, accepted and denied applications, and the roles that review them.
- Post a panel with a button or dropdown members click; they can also use
/apply, or fill it in on the website.
Reviewing
- Accept or deny with a reason, and the member is told in the result channel.
- Reviewers vote, and a number of votes can decide on its own.
- Open a thread to discuss, or an interview channel with the applicant.
- Reminders when an application waits too long, and a block for members who shouldn't apply again.
- Roles given or taken on accept and on deny.
Whitelist on accept
A gamertag question fills in the member's linked gamertag. Set it to add the gamertag to the whitelist or the priority queue, and accepting the application does it on every server the gamertag is linked on. Turn on Auto Accept, or set a quiz with a pass mark, and members get in without waiting for staff.
The free plan has 2 forms of up to 10 questions, 1 panel and 25 applications a day.
